Bands are graduated: each band's rate applies only to the units inside it, and the step-down applies to the plan and to every module. Your first 50 units are always billed at the headline rate, whatever size your fleet reaches. Above 1,000 units the rate is agreed with you, with the 501–1,000 band as a guaranteed ceiling.

Three asset classes, decided by two physical questions — can it be driven, and can one person lift it? All three earn hire revenue; the weight reflects how much scheduling, servicing and tracking each needs. You pick the class when you create an asset and can change it any time.
Drivable — it moves under its own power with an operator on board, seated or standing.
Not drivable, and too heavy for one person to lift without mechanical aid.

Cross-hired assets are half their class. Gear you source from another supplier counts at half its class weight for the days it's on hire in the month — and is free when your supplier is on StayOnHire.

Scheduling is in every account. Each module adds its own column of features — and they don't depend on each other, so Maintenance works without Billing.

Billing and Maintenance are priced per asset like the plan. Labour and Track are priced per worker and per device, and work with any combination. StayOnHire Certified Trackers are supplied only through StayOnHire, bought outright and shipped to you; the monthly Track price is connectivity and platform only. Track hardware and data are real per-device costs, so they sit outside the graduated bands and the annual discount.

Your first 50 units are billed at the headline rate, units 51–200 at the second band, and units 201–260 at the third. On Scheduling + Billing that is 50 × $8 + 150 × $6 + 60 × $4.40 = $1,564 a month, or $6.02 per unit on average. Adding your 261st unit costs $4.40 — never more. The step-down applies to the module part of the rate too, and the same arithmetic runs up to 1,000 units.
Your first 1,000 units are billed on the published bands exactly as shown. For units above that we agree a rate with you as part of a committed-fleet agreement, and that rate is guaranteed to be at or below the 501–1,000 band for your modules. Yes. Add a module any time and it applies from your next invoice. Drop one at the end of any month on monthly billing, or at renewal on annual. Your rate and included seats step up or down together.
No — a tracked asset is still an asset in StayOnHire, so it counts toward your units as usual. Track adds the SIM, data and live location on top; the hardware is yours. On wired trackers, ignition and run-hours also flow into utilisation billing and, with the Maintenance module, service schedules.
At half the rate of the same asset class, counted only for the days it's on hire in the month — so tracking a cross-hire is always cheaper than not tracking it. If the supplier is also on StayOnHire and the asset is linked to their fleet, it's free on your subscription: the owner already pays for it. Cross-hires never count toward plan caps or the ten-primary-asset minimum.
